I’m a UX designer with a knack for turning complex problems into intuitive, user-friendly solutions—probably because I’ve spent time explaining fractions to seven-year-olds. After a rewarding career as a second-grade teacher, I made the leap into UX design by completing Springboard’s UX/UI Bootcamp, where I combined my love for creativity, problem-solving, and user empathy. (Because if I can design six different ways to teach one topic to a room full of kids, I can design for anyone.)

Drawing from years of lesson planning, classroom adaptability, and making learning fun, I bring a unique perspective to the UX world—designing experiences that are as engaging as a great read-aloud session.

Right now, I’m focused on user research, wireframing, and prototyping to create meaningful digital experiences that put people first. When I’m not refining user flows or conducting usability tests, you can find me testing the usability of my own kitchen (baking experiments may or may not be involved) or indulging in a good book—without having to pause for a spelling lesson.

Hi! I’m Kathryn!
